Why are you writing this in English?

I hope to reach more interested readers by writing technology-related stuff in English. I also consider that several Brazilian readers that may be interested in my writings can also read in English.

Do you know your English is lame?

Yes, I do. I hope to enhance my English skills by writing posts in this blog. If you find something wrong here, please let me know. I thank you in advance.

Which OS do you use?

I use Windows® at both home and work. And I consider Windows® useless without Cygwin.

Why should I bother about you once you use Windows®?

Because I don’t have choice. I have to use Windows® at work. And I’m 99,99% sure that no big corporation will switch from Windows® to any other OS in less than 20 years. If you know an enterprise that fits in the 0,01% (or in a broader percentage), I would be glad to know.

PS: By “switch” I mean have zero computers running Windows® at their sites. IBM already gives to its developers the ability to choose Windows® or Linux for their workstations.

But you could use a decent OS at home, right?

Yes, I could. But I don’t do due to some considerable reasons.

Why do you have a blog?

I have a blog to share my thoughts about any subject of my personal interest.

On the other hand, is not the purpose of this subject publish personal information about its author, altought you may find such information in some posts if needed to contextualize you, dear reader. If you want more information about me, all I can offer you is a visit to my LinkedIn profile.
