Guess who is back? - Reloaded.
If you think you should start learning Cobol as fast as you can, because what you read in my last post, think again. Fortunately, soon we’ll be able to run OpenSolaris on IBM mainframes, as you can see here.

If you think that mainframes are dead, think again.
If you think that mainframes are legacy, and all companies are doing what is possible to get rid of their expensive maintenance cost, think again too.
And don’t worry, because after writing several lines of Java code to replace legacy Cobol code, I used to think this way […]
